Each year the annual  Met Gala  generates much hype in the form of internet gossip and best-dressed lists.  this year's Met Gala Was Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York city, the theme for 2016 was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. This meant futuristic, technology-inspired designs modelled by a wealth of  high-profile singers, models and actors . The theme was more evident in some outfits than others, with Zayn Malik sporting bionic arms over his Versace suit and Katy Perry turning up with a 90s Tamagotchi around her neck. Other red carpet arrivals included Beyonce, Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West, Cindy Crawford and Idris Elba.  Beyonce dressed in a latex givenchy dress Clara in an H & M crystal embellished dress, zendaya in a Michael Kors and solange Knowles. lupita nyongo makes a bold Fashion statement in a green metallic gown.  Check out ofashionexpress gallery of the best dressed females at the Met Gala 2016:

these surprisingly easy color pairings, Today's outfit is pretty basic, but I really like the color combination. To church I rocked a light sky blue no sleeve top and a red maxi (above the knees) skirt with sparkle and finished up the look with a multi color block heels.  I enjoyed the sparkle on the skirt which helped to bring a little luxury to my look... what do you think O-LOVERS?
